Legal Disposal of Waste . . .

Under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 all businesses are required by law to dispose of their waste properly. Businesses producing all forms of commercial and industrial waste will be subject to what is called the 'Duty of Care'. This means that you must, by law, take all reasonable steps to look after any waste you have and prevent its escape or illegal disposal by others.
J.D.Waste are licensed carriers of domestic and commercial waste. It is a legal requirement to ensure that your waste is disposed of correctly and safely. Cheaper un-licensed carriers may be in breach of the Environmental Protection Act and as such could cost you a lot more. Fly tipping is a criminal offence, the original owner of the waste being held legally responsible. All waste that we collect is disposed of legally, with the appropriate fees to the local authorities.
